Born to a world, where your opinion means shit, Forced to quietly obey , for you're too young to exist. As the double standard grows, you become their property You are threatened not to question the adult supremacy Born to a family, to perfection stereotypes, A panopticon of social values of what they believe is right As you try to escape his claws, flee from this reality , Father's ghost follows you close, blended in society. It's the fucking state, their courts, their prisons & police Protecting us from ourselves cause "they just can't leave in peace" It's the doctors and the power we allowed them to possess Infantilizing our ability to choose, to try and guess It's them all, these fucking experts, masters and their authority Stealing your life away from you, telling how stupid you should be. All these vertical power structures which we all have to bend and break Burn their foundations to the ground, rip them off inside you & me
2.
Well, as the moonlight lights your club you say "No where to run now boy, gonna beat the teeth out of your mouth in the name of the law" My bones were breaking, your baton swinging Protecting and serving the shit out of me You kicked me down, dropped your pants Started pissing on me while laughing lunatically It was getting boring so you left me crawling, vomiting blood all over the ground Your name was hiding but your face is carved in my skull I'll see you around I don't trust lawyers, judges and courts and i know you know how slow justice can go these days I saw you walking out your dog last night so next time, and if the lights are all down I'm gonna wreck your petty soul when I drive past your house As your dirty feet walk close, smashing ashes and consent In a bedroom full of empty bottles My weak voice mumbling, trying to escape your rotten soul Your breath touching my wasted body History's legetimating your power and it's cracking every part of me I will have my scars but I'm not alone Cause even thought I'm made in a thousand broken pieces I'm not destroyed, I'm not destroyed One way or another im gonna find you, im gonna get you, get you, get you, get you One day maybe next week ,I'm gonna meet ya', I'm gonna kill ya', I'll kill ya'! I will drive past your house, and if the lights are all down. I'll blow your brains out, on the floor

Lori Meyers 02:23
Lori Meyers used to live upstairs Our parents had been friends for years Almost every afternoon we'd play forbidden games At nine years old there's no such thing as shame It wasn't recognition of her face, what brought me back Was a familiar mark as it flashed across the screen. I bought some magazines, some video taped scenes Incriminating acts, I thought that I could save her Who the hell are you to tell me how to live? You think I sell my body; I merely sell my time I ain't no Cinderella, I ain't waiting for no prince To save me in fact until just now I was doin' just fine And on and on I know what degradation feels like I felt it on the floor At the factory where I worked long before I took control, now I answer to me The 50K I make this year will go anywhere I please Where's the problem?
4.
Overthinking again about the things you said 'Till your words break into letters, floating up my mind I try hard to make sense of everything, glue them back together But my head's a mess, the moment is lost, and so am I. The wider I open my eyes, the darker this world turns. And i can't seem to get them shut tight again, Even when i lay down to rest can't help to think how good it burns My dreams are burning red But for now, let's take comfort in the fact we didn't yet become what we hate the most And if that's right, if there are still some wars to fight, then we might as well hang around a bit more And if we find enough rope where all our heads could swing together Finally true to ourselves and the ones who came before On the top of a tree, no hierarchy, smiling to eternity Together and free, for good The horror we may not live To see the walls fall from between us Between us and the world for which these songs cry out But for now, let's take comfort in the fact we aren't yet what we ought to become. And if that's right, if there are still some wars to fight, then we might as well hang around a bit more Cause maybe we have a long way to go but we're surely not where we started And if that's not something to drink to, why drink anyway And if that isn't something to live for, why not to die today I'm tired of being let down and pissed,I hope we find a way If life has no more meaning than these chords well for me that's okay. And if that's not enough reason to breath, why are you still breathing?
5.
The doorbell echoes through graffiti stained walls Hello dear fellow, can you already smell the food? After you enter don't forget to shut the entrance door Lock it tight if you smell the cops Leave all your prejudice and bigotry outside Tell your boss that tomorrow you won't be showing up For here you came to ease your head and slay your idols dead But will you help us cut some vegs? Armed with mortar, bricks and shovels Building some walls so we can destroy all others We make a feast out of every single chance We drink our livers off, we sing, we shout, we dance And i don't know if one day, we'll ever live our own way, if we'll ever leave the gutters And i'm afraid we will rot, before we first take a shot at the world we plot But right now, just between you and I, we surely learned so much together After so many days so many nights expanding ourselves close to a place we never been Armed with mortar, bricks and shovels Building some walls so we can destroy all others We make a feast out of every single chance We drink our livers off, we sing, we shout, we dance To create, to destroy, to defend our spaces Let'em serve its purpose of escapism & conspiracy Inviting every inflammable soul in While keeping the world fucking out of it.

about

We recorded this EP between February & April 2019. All songs & lyrics were written by us except Lori Meyers (which was originally written by NOFX) and the obvious Blondie rip off on A Dish Served Cold. We took a couple of verses from Catharsis on the track We Might Never Change The World. The titles of the last two songs were also stolen from Nine Eleven's lyrics. As much as proper tea, copyright's also theft.

The amount of people who helped us during this process was tremendous, as this was pretty much a big collective work between us and a lot of good friends.
We played the guitar, washboard, bass, drums, piano, sang and screamed. Zach from Feral Booty played banjo, Fabian Maddison played the mandolin, Valentina Feuillet played cello, João Johnny Marques played saxophone and Fabio & Nikolai played violin. Sarah did the amazing spoken word on Kill The Father. Marina Knup did the beautiful "At the top of a tree" artwork.

William Kay tracked 90% of the instruments at his home studio. He had nearly no free time between work and faculty and still agreed on doing it. He contributed not just with time but with expertise, patience, love & affection. Without him, this record wouldn't be the same. We were truly gifted. The rest was done in Disgraça by us and Reuben, who taught us to record on Linux!

Andre Isidro (Duck Tape Melodies) did an amazing job mixing, mastering and recording the drums while we were running against the clock to release it before our tour. We are deeply grateful.
Boris from Destroy It Yourself was kind enough to help us release this tape. He's a long time friend and it's an honor to be part of his DIY label's releases.

This record is also a result of our personal and collective experiences & growth, so inevitably Disgraça (the anti-authoritarian social center where we conspire) and everyone involved there are a big part of it. It's our home and it deserves our gratitude as much as everyone else.
Hopefully we can keep inspiring each other and use these and other tunes as the soundtrack for our own fights.
